CPD Certified Self Defence Training

Streetwise Defence training is CPD UK accredited. This means our workshops meet national standards for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) — independently assessed by The CPD Certification Service.

Whether you're learning for work, education, or personal growth, our training now offers something extra: official CPD recognition.

What Is CPD and Why Does It Matter?

CPD is used by employers, schools, and professional bodies to track learning that supports ongoing development. It’s often a requirement in regulated sectors — and increasingly valued as a sign of quality training.

With Streetwise Defence, participants not only build real-world self defence and personal safety skills — they also earn formally recognised CPD hours.

Who Is This For?

Our CPD-accredited training is suitable for:

  • Organisations developing staff through wellbeing, resilience, or safety programs

  • School and college staff providing PSHE, safeguarding or personal development workshops

  • Public services and community groups looking to empower people through practical, inclusive training.

What Do Participants Receive?

After completing any CPD-accredited session, the attendee can request a CPD Certificate of Attendance, which can be used for:

  • Staff development records

  • Performance reviews

  • Professional body requirements

  • Personal learning portfolios.

Simply email julie@streetwisedefence.com to request your certificate or we can send your information directly to CPD UK and they will add it to your myCPD portal.

How Many CPD Hours Will I Earn?

CPD hours match the length of the session:

  • 1-hour online session = 1 CPD hour

  • 90 minutes = 1.5 CPD hours

  • 3.5 hour workshop = 3.5 CPD hours

We’ll confirm the exact hours in your booking or proposal.

Why Choose CPD-Accredited Training?

CPD accreditation adds professional weight to the skills we teach — self defence, emotional resilience, boundary-setting, and personal safety. It shows your organisation is serious about meaningful, measurable development.

  • For individuals, it’s recognition of your growth.

  • For teams, it’s a value-add to any training session.

  • For HR and education leaders, it’s a trusted standard you can stand behind.
